Need of An Environmentally Lunch Box

In coming years, it is mandatory to take care of the environment which provides us with all basic amenities. Environment covers all the surroundings in which the living organisms survive. Moreover, a healthy ecosystem helps in sustaining the human life and the society in which he lives. It provides us with all essential nutrients which are required for the survival of an organism. 

A healthy environment is necessary for the food production also which should be free from all kinds of chemicals. 

But some kinds of human activities like deforestation, overgrazing, mining, industrialization etc. are making the environment unhealthy.Environment sustainability has become must for an individual. The sustainable environment can be defined as the one in which resources are used to fulfill the present needs without overusing them so that they are sustained and saved for the future. It can also be defined as the maintenance of the environment.

Understanding the importance of environment it is important to spread awareness and education about the importance of environment among the people. The spreading of education and awareness should start from the kindergarten only as youngsters are the future of every nation. Children in different schools should be educated about the importance of biodegradable substances and should be motivated to not use the non-biodegradable substances. 

Biodegradable substances are those which are rapidly decomposed by the action of various microorganisms. The biodegradable substances get easily absorbed into the soil and don’t harm the environment. The biodegradable substances are stainless steel, cotton, wool, food etc. While non-biodegradable substances are the ones which are not decomposed easily.

It generally includes substances like plastic etc. Therefore, children should be educated to use eco-friendly lunch boxes and bottles. A strict ban should be imposed in the school on the use of the products made of the non-biodegradable substances.
